Magic ETL - current date
I know this is possible to do via MySQL ETL, but it would be rad if it was possible to inject the current date into Magic ETL as a constant.

@cr1ckt Agreed, this would be a great improvement. I've added your feedback to our roadmap. Thanks for the suggestion!

Thanks for adding this to the roadmap, this situation has, more than once, been the reason for me to use MySQL and not Magic ETL.

Either this or can we have a SQL component where we can write our own MySQL commands within Magic ETL?

The ability to integrate SQL into Magic ETL would be a great improvements—it would be a significant undertaking given how Magic ETL is structured, but we've added it to our long-term roadmap.
Also, we have made some progress on the original suggesiton to use current date in Magic ETL. It's still a ways out from release, but I am moving the status from Under Review to Approved. Thanks!
