Format data in alert notifications

When the alert email comes through the amounts are shown without formatting, just XXXXX.XX.  Would like to be able to format them to $XX,XXX.XX but have been informed by support that isn't possible.  I would recommend this as an enhancement.

    @Chips: Thanks for giving us this feedback! For this formatting, would it be best for us to pull it off the card? For example, if my card has the values formatted as currency, we preserve that formatting in the alert communications whether email, sms, etc.

     

    Is that how you would envision this working?
