Preview Toggle - Reduce Edit Time
We have a rather large dataset in terms of the number of variables (columns) that we feed into DOMO. This dataset, in turns feeds many others which makes the splitting off of ETL's difficult due to the highly complex beastmode calculations we utilize. That being said, the load times for editing have become incredibly burdensome; it takes 20-40 seconds just to move a column.
Is it feasible to create a toggle to turn the preview functionality off and on?
In terms of the functionality, I am thinking that when off the changes are virtually saved and then when toggled back on the final version of the preview would load rather than having to update upon each change. This would, I believe, significantly reduce load times with large, complex datasets and provide some much needed efficiency in the card building process.
Anyone else experience anything similar?
Hope this is something you guys can consider.
Thanks!
