Beast Mode Field on DesignStudio App

The current App Wedges on Design Studio App cannot allow to select Beast Mode field. Each time in order to reach the required field, I have to create a dataflow even it is simpler if add a Beast Mode field to the dataset. Is it possible to allow selecting Beast Mode field from existing dataset to fill the App Wedges on cards from Design Studio App?
