Change data sources without recreating DataSets. Please!

We're changing how we get some of our data into Domo from Excel + Workbench to Postgres pulls. As far as I can tell, we have to build new DataSets from scratch and then migrate our existing 130+ cards over. This process feels  problematic, and somewhat risky. As far as I can tell, we need to rebuild filters, drill paths, PDP rules, user access shares, and all the rest.

 

This seems like a lot of effort, and a bit risky to boot. The data isn't changing, only the way the data is being fed into Domo.

 

Couldn't Domo simply change the method on the inside without us having to rebuild all of these things by hand?
