Date "Graph By" doesn't pass to drill path

When you change the "graph by" in the date drop down box on the parent card... and then drill down to the drill-path... it doesn't pass the "graph by" on to the drill path, it reverts back to the default "graph by"

 

So if I change the parent card to look at total sales volume "by quarter" instead of month... and then drill down to the next level to see the sales volume broken by region... it doesn't show it by quarter, it goes back to "by month".

 

This is pretty signficant... if my users want to see metrics broken by different date periods (month, quarter, year, etc)... they also want to view the drill down data by the same period.  

 

This is something that really needs to be addressed.
