Converting metrics in to dimensions or numeric values in to text

Hi Domo Team,

 

Domo currently is automatically treating any columns with numeric values as a metric. Example - its treating the columns like customer IDs and year as a metrics instead of dimensions. Although I can convert them in to dimensions using beast mode, the problem is beast mode columns cannot be used as page filters. I am aware that i can convert the data types using data flows, but it will be nice to have simpler options like drag and drop a column from metrics to dimensions. Hope Domo will add this in future.
