Keep filters during card refresh

I'd like the ability to keep my filters when a card automatically refreshes. I run into this issue frequently on table cards where I apply a filter to the card, then the data gets updated and I have to reapply the filter.  I think that if I already have a filter applied to it, that it should stick until I either leave the card or the whole page is refreshed.
