US Map Drill Down

Allow zip codes to be used as a value in US Maps and then the ability to drill down by a state to see cities/zip codes. Also another feature of having  bubble values on the chart that change as you zoom in or out 

ie:

Would love this for Australia !

Thanks for the suggestion. We are working on enhancing these mapping abilities. 

 

I do want to make sure you are aware that we do these things today even if they are somewhat hidden.

 

1) ability to drill down by a state to see cities/zip codes - You can do this but you have to add a county FIPS layer to your data. This will then allow you to drill to state and then again drill down to FIPS area. You can also take a look at this in details mode by using a filter and selecting just the zip code or state that you want. Sample image attached...

 

2) bubble values on the chart - You can do this with a lat/long map. You need to get the lat/long values to use this but it is very powerful and selects just the minimum bounding region when displaying.

You can plot zip codes using lat lon. Below is a mapping table we use to convert zip codes to lat lon values. It's a nice workaround until a Zip code options is available.
