Filters in Slideshows

I have created a story and its pretty awesome. I put filters on the dashboard that filter all my cards at once so my users can see exactly what I want them to see which is also awesome. But then I publish it as a slideshow so they can all see the awesome data and.....all the filters are ignored. Cards are showing data for ALL TIME and everyone thinks they're getting huge bonuses when they see the sales numbers....and start to cry when they see the number of tickets we've gotten. Definitely a big problem.

 

The workaround is to export the story to PowerPoint which, oddly enough, keeps all the filters intact for me. I'd like to leverage Domo as my single BI tool but here I can't do that. 

 

tldr: Can we make the 'Slideshow' see page filters?
