I believe this to be a visual bug, and that your datasets should still be updating as expected. We are facing the EXACT same issue, it also started in August 2016 and NO my data sets are not being refreshed. It shows an error message on my card and data sets in my DOMO instance. I've reached out to DOMO Support several times since 8/17 and to this day, there has been no resolution.

The thing they told me to do was to open 'Services, then stop and start the Workbecnh Service. It at least then let me go in and manually re kick-off the jobs, if that makes sense. I have used this now several times. Certainly not ideal, as yo0u would hope it could just smoothly sort itself out, but seems to do the trick when neccessary.
