Conditional formatting on bar charts
Can a Domo rep shed more light on the reason why bar charts don't have conditional formatting?
If there's not a reason, it would be nice to have the ability to apply conditional formatting to a bar chart. Some charts don't permit more than two series, for example the Percent of Total type. Being able to apply highlights to bars depending on their values/names/etc. would assist our users with a quick visual assessment of the cards from a page level. But again, not knowing if there is an underlying reason why conditional formatting is not available makes it appear as an oversight.

I agree, and not only on bar charts. DOMO needs a more robust conditional formatting infrastructure overall. Having to use beast modes and html code to get conditional formatting is a inconvenient. And then, you can't even filter optimally as the filter data show up as html code and not the actual string.
Sumo cards are a good step forward but the conditional formatting is fairly simple there as well. And then you run into the issue of the limited cell count that a sumo card can support without having to put in a filter.

Conditional color formatting is entering Beta this week. It works on all cards including tables. It allows you to set colors based on value ranges or categories. It is a super useful feature. Thanks for the post.
