Sumo Card - Re-Use Fields

I find that I can't re-use a field in a Sumo Card, if I want to. For instance, in this scenario I want to count how many "Actual Install Start Dates" are in a given month, sorted by Batch Date - to check on fluctuation over time.

 

I realize that I can use an ETL and create a field that would help with this, but I definitely would not prefer to create a field every time that I wanted to re-use a field like this...
