Play mp4 in Safari

I am trying to play an mp4 file that is located in a project folder. In Chrome it works perfectly, but in Safari it does not.
Is it possible to play mp4 on iOs?

According to the system requirmentes for Domo (https://knowledge.domo.com/?cid=sysreq), it is listed that Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox are the recommended browsers for Domo.
