Can you use REGEX in a Beast Mode?

Easy question for a Monday morning. Can you use REGEX in a Beast Mode? I have found references to REGEX in ETL but nothing about it in a Beast Mode. Thanks and enjoy the softball.

    Currently, REGEX is not supported within BeastMode. However, this would be great feedback for the product teams. Please search the Ideas exchange here https://dojo.domo.com/t5/Ideas-Exchange/idb-p/Ideas. I searched that section and didn't find a suggestion yet created, but if your idea exists then you can vote it up, otherwise, you can submit your idea so others can vote it up.
