Improving Page Loading - Hide collections, Turn off auto-render

In order to improve page load times, it would be helpful if Dashboards had expandable collections so that initially when a dashboard is opened, all the collections are not loaded at once. Additionally, for pages that are always filtered before being viewed, it would help this issue if there was an option to turn off rendering of a dashboard until the filters are selected.

Are you using Standard Dashboard or Story Telling Dashboard?  In the new DB, the collection option goes away.  But page filtering can slow the page down from showing up so that option sounds good.
