Alert Functionality - Referencing the data or referencing the card?

I built a KPI card that looks at a clients email data from two days ago. The client asked that we look at the data from two days ago, so that we get a complete 24 hours of data collected on an email. However, that required me to exclude yesterday - which i created a beast mode for. The card functions beautifully - But they also wanted to receive an alert if the KPIs dropped below a certain threshhold.

 

Since creating the alert, i noticed that the data in the daily alert is NOT the same as the data in the card. So I think the alert is referencing the last two days of data instead of only two days ago. What is the work around for this?

    Mind sharing the settings for the alert?  It might help to see what you are using for a summary number and that beast mode you mentioned
