Converting Time zone with day light saving
Hello,
I am trying to do a simple conversion of time zones of a datetime column from UTC to CST and EST. For some reason, I am getting error in this formula:
CONVERT_TZ(`DateTimecolumn`, 'utc', 'cst')
I also tried CDT instead of CST but getting error. I need something which works for time zone conversion as well as day light saving.

Hi @User2021
Instead of CST I'd recommend using the country/city name like this:
CONVERT_TZ(`DateTimecolumn`, 'UTC', 'America/Chicago')
You can use this in either a Beast Mode on a Card or a Formula Tile in a MagicETL 2.0 dataflow.
Here's a list of timezone strings:

Hey @GrantSmith this country/city combination is not working. Any other idea?
CONVERT_TZ(`ColumnName`, 'UTC', 'America/Chicago') AS UTC_TO_CST

How is it not working? What are you getting? What are you expecting? Domo will convert your TIMESTAMP fields when a card is displayed to whatever time zone your instance is configured to.
