For a google sheet connection, how does Domo determine which columns are text?

I have a google sheet with rows/columns of various data. One column that is 100% integers (except for the column heading), but when connecting the google sheet to Domo, Domo considers it a text field instead of an integer field. So when I try and create cards, it treats the field as a dimension instead of a measure. How can I fix it?

Just to reiterate, I have checked every row and each cell is an integer value (not a formula or anything).
