How do I build a beast mode and/or modify an ETL to calculate a portion of my data set columns

To try to summarize briefly I work in healthcare and I'm relatively new to operating DOMO. I have an ETL data set with one row of data naming the provider for each patient admission in individual columns. Another data row specifies if given patient was inpatient or observation in individual columns of that row.
I am wanting to create a calculation to measure the percentage of a specifics provider's admissions to determine how many were "inpatient" versus how many they admitted overall. How could I build a beast mode and/or modify the ETL to calculate this unique data from each of those 2 rows?
