CONCAT function not working, any reasons?
I've done what I'm trying to do before, CONCAT(column, ' ', column) as a calculated column in a view. It's not working anymore for some reason. Any reason why? It's only letting me not do it on certain columns

Okay, so it appears that if you're trying to use a column that's used in a join you can't use it in a function if the columns have the same name. Is there any documentation on how to properly reference the table? e.g. tablename.columnname? This is pretty basic functionality

Once you have your output dataset, that dataset is the table, so there's no way to reference the source table it comes from. If you've done the join in MagicETL, then you should have the option in the join tile to drop duplicate columns. Alternatively, you could just rename the duplicate columns.

This is a join on a data view, and I'm only including one of the joining columns in the output (which is why I'm so confused). Doesn't make any sense

Can you do the concat if you rename one of the columns in the data view?

I tried that too, nothing is working, very aggravating as it seems like basic functionality.
