Change the values of variables as if they were filters from DDX

I am trying to modify the value of a variable with a DDX Brick, I am not entirely clear if this is possible but I have not found any information about it either.

I have seen that with the variable control when you set the value of a variable it appears in the upper area of the screen, where the filters are.

 I have tried to follow the same procedure to use the filters inside the DDX using the function:

"domo.filterContainer(my_array)"

but I don't get any result.

Would it be possible some functionality to change the value of the variables from within DDX? I think it would allow to add a bigger layer of customization to the dashboards.

That is great a point!

The new variables release is amazing but being able to update variables values from DDX would be a great functionality.
