What determines fields fetched from Azure DevOps?

I've set up a connector to get work item data from Azure DevOps. It pulled in the data successfully. However, some things are not included, such as work item parent ID. That is, each user story should have a parent user story, feature, or epic. That data is not included. Is there a way to extend what is acquired from DevOps? Thank you.
