Table level calculation

Right now, Domo allows only row level calculations using Beast Mode. This is such an impediment, leading us to create Data flows. For instance, we need to calculate trend line of Moving Average over Time.  

 

The underlying data is Sales Per week and in order to calculate Moving Average, we had to create a red shift dataset, using window/partioning function for the calculation.

    @swrao Thanks for this feedback, I will talk to our backend systems dev team about Table level calculations. Agreed this will allow better customization for functions.

    Is there any news on this?

    We are having real growing pains by not being able to calculate things like growth rate, comparison to average etc due to the lack of table level calculations.
