New to Domo - Basic Connector Questions

Only my first day working in Domo on this task and have a few questions. Apologies if I have missed something in the help documentation. Still combing through things trying to find the right answer.

 

Here is what we are trying to do. We have a custom REST End Point (json data with api key) we are trying to pull data from into Domo.

 

Based on what I have been reading I need to created a custom connector to access the api and consume the data. Is this the correct approach?

 

Second, There is a Connector Submission piece in the documentation. Does this mean that the connector will be avaialbe for individuals outside of our organization?

    Hi,

     

    Yes creating a custom connector will be the best approach for this. The submission piece will allow you to access the connector through your instance.
