I am looking for best practices or pre set cards that help someone track the average duration for a sales cycle. We currently have 7 stages in our sales cycle and looking for more efficient and accurate ways to track the avg days per stage.
We currently have a card that shows this but I am finding that it is not including all of our opportunities - whether they are closed or still open.

It sounds like you are using Salesforce and tracking your sales cycle via Opportunities. Are you capturing Opportunity stage progressions in custom datetime stamps on your Opportunity Object? If not, then you'll probably need to use Opportunity History or Opportunity Field History data, which gets much more complex.
If you can show a sample of the data structure you're looking at, we may be better able to help.
